Flexi Exercises Module

Learn about the Flexi Exercises module and configuration options

Updated over a week ago

The Flexi Exercises module is one of the most useful modules and is used to display exercise videos alongside a configurable workout timer. It can be used for just about any training style or workout type.

For example, it can be used to build workouts such as: Circuit, High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), Tabata, You Go I Go (YGIG), As Many Reps As Possible (AMRAP), Every Minute On The Minute (EMOM) and more. It can also be used for 24/7 unattended setups and displaying exercises only without a timer.

For many more examples of different styles of workouts as well as direct links to the workouts to use directly in CloudFit, please see our Flexi Timings Templates document.

Note: The Flexi Exercises module is recommended over the original Timebox module as it provides similar functionality but with additional configurability.

Configuration Options

Flexi Timings

Configure the exact timings you want for the timer, see the Flexi Timings help article for more information.

Choose and configure the exercise videos to show on your displays.

Module Name

Provide a custom name for the module. This is not shown to the class at all and is just used for your own organizational purposes.

Exercise Display Mode

Choose how exercises are distributed on your displays:

  • Automatic mode distributes exercises optimally across available displays

  • Manual mode allows you to choose which exercises show on which displays

  • Mirror mode shows all exercises on all displays

Exercise Ordering & Numbers

Choose the ordering of exercises on your displays as well as the exercise number label that shows on each exercise. See this dedicated help article for in-depth information.

Choose the sound that plays at the start of each workout period.

Module Repeats

The number of times to repeat this module before moving onto the next module.

Choose the layout style of the module:

  • Normal (recommended) - includes the top information bar (logo, timer, progress bar)

  • Logo+Exercises - hides the timers and sets and shows just your logo and exercise videos

  • Only Exercises - shows only the exercise videos and nothing else

Timer Style

Choose if the timer should count downwards or count upwards.

First Timing Sound

Choose if the very first timing in the defined Flexi Timings should play a sound/beep or not. This should normally be set to enabled (default) but can be turned off in case the first timing is a "Get Ready" style timing or transition where a beep may not be expected.

Flexi Exercise modules are generally made up of a header with your logo and timer and set information.

A standard layout may look like this:
