Circuit Module

Learn about the Circuit module and configuration options

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Circuit module is used when you want to create a traditional circuit style workout where clients move from one station to the next based on a work/rest timer.

An example would be 10 different workout stations spread across the your studio where clients take turns performing different exercises at each station before moving onto the next station.

Configuration Options

Module Time

This is a read-only field and is automatically calculated. It lets you know how long your module will run for based on the configuration options you've specified.

Exercises

Choose and configure the exercise videos to show on your displays.

Circuit Laps

The number of laps of the entire circuit that need to be completed. ie the number of times each client will complete the entire workout. ie Clients will complete all stations before repeating the same again.

Sets Per Station

The number of Sets to be completed at each exercise station before moving onto the next station.

Work Time

The standard "work" time for each set.

Rest Time

The standard "rest" time for each set.

Switch to Variable Timing (Advanced)

By enabling this button you will be able to specify different work/rest timings for each set.

For example 3 sets with 40/20, 30/20, 20/20 timings.

Module Name

Provide a custom name for the module. This is not shown to the class at all and is just used for your own organizational purposes.

Exercise Display Mode

Choose how exercises are distributed on your displays:

  • Automatic mode distributes exercises optimally across available displays

  • Manual mode allows you to choose which exercises show on which displays

  • Mirror mode shows all exercises on all displays

Exercise Ordering & Numbers

Choose the ordering of exercises on your displays as well as the exercise number label that shows on each exercise. See this dedicated help article for in-depth information.

Sound

Choose the sound that plays at the start or end of each workout period. For more info on sounds see this help article.

Module Repeats

The number of times to repeat this module before moving onto the next module.

Number of Drink Breaks

This number is calculated automatically based on Circuit Laps. A drink break period is added to the end of each lap. ie a 3 lap circuit will have 2 drink breaks.

Drink Break Length

Length of time allocated for drink breaks between laps. You can set this to "0" to skip drink breaks.

Skip Final Drink Break

Whether or not the very last rest break should be skipped. It's common to skip the final rest break as there's often no need to rest before a final break or cool down.

Get Ready

A "get ready" countdown that shows at the start of the module. It can be disabled if the time is set to zero.

Get Ready Sound

Whether or not the a sound should play at the start of the "get ready" countdown.
