Many gyms and studios want to be able to continuously run workouts on their connected CloudFit displays. This enables a variety of use-cases:
unsupervised or self-service workouts (eg. for off-peak hours or 24/7 gyms)
the "Start a new workout every 15 minutes" model where members can join into a workout whenever they want and the longest waiting time is 15 minutes
repeating periodic workouts such as running a workout every 60 minutes that should run on the hour every hour (avoids having to create many schedule entries, although we still recommend scheduling at the start time, see below)
To enable this, we highly recommend using the "Repeat Workout" feature in your workout configuration. This feature automatically restarts the workout after it finishes and will keep the same workout running indefinitely until:
the workout is stopped manually via the workout controller screen stop button.
a scheduled workout is due to start so the current workout will be stopped first.
For example, using this feature, you can create a 1 hour workout, set it to repeat, and then have it run from 6am -> 8pm throughout the entire day.
Scheduling Workouts
In conjunction with the "Repeat Workout" feature, we also recommend scheduling the repeating workouts. This allows you to start a 1 hour workout at an exact time such as 6am. It also allows you to swap out the workout as needed. For example, you could have a 1 hour cardio workout running from 6am to 3pm, and then a strength workout run from 3pm to 8pm.
