CloudFit AI - Exercise Suggestions

Use Artificial Intelligence to quickly get exercise ideas that you can add to your workouts and modules.

Updated today

⚠️ Note: CloudFit AI is currently in beta and may sometimes make mistakes. Always review suggestions before using them in your workouts.

What is CloudFit AI?

CloudFit AI is an assistant built into the CloudFit app. It uses advanced generative AI technology (known as "large language models", or LLMs - similar to ChatGPT) to suggest relevant exercises based on what you ask for.

Think of it as a smart brainstorming partner: it doesn’t build workouts for you, but it can help you find and choose the right exercises faster.

What can it do and how does it work?

The first CloudFit AI feature provides intelligent exercise suggestions.

Here’s how it works:

  • ✏️ Suggests exercises – Type a prompt such as “lower body reformer Pilates for beginners” or “warm-up with bodyweight only”.

  • 👀 Review before adding – CloudFit AI will return a set of exercise suggestions. Select what you want, skip what you don’t.

  • Insert into workouts – With one click, add selected exercises directly into any modules that have exercises such as Simple Exercises, Flexi Exercises, or Flow.

How does it help?

  • 🕒 Save time – Skip searching through long lists; just describe what you need.

  • 💡 Stay creative – Get fresh exercise ideas to keep classes engaging.

  • 🎯 Be precise – Ask for specific needs (e.g. “low-impact cardio with minimal equipment” or “high calorie burn HIIT with box”) and get targeted suggestions.

  • Work efficiently – Review, pick, and add exercises to your workout in seconds.

Using CloudFit AI

In the CloudFit app:

  1. Open a module – Go to any workout module that contains exercises and open up the exercises list

  2. Launch CloudFit AI – Tap the CloudFit AI button

  3. Enter a prompt – Describe what you’re looking for (e.g. “upper body strength with barbells plus core” - see below for more examples).

  4. Review the list – CloudFit AI will generate a brief description and a set of exercises. Click the "View Exercises" button to review the exercises.

  5. Review exercises – Browse the suggested exercises. CloudFit AI shows a short description and the reason for each choice. Use the checkboxes to select or deselect exercises, then click “Add Exercises” to include them in your module.

Additional Options

You can also configure additional options to adjust CloudFit AI’s output.

  • Number of Exercises: Select how many exercises you want CloudFit AI to suggest.

  • Equipment Selection: Narrow down the equipment types you want CloudFit AI to use. Note that this can also be accomplished by specifying the equipment in the prompt itself (e.g. "lower body strength with barbells").

  • Avoid Recently Used Exercises: Choose the number of days to avoid suggesting exercises from your recent workouts. This looks through workouts that have been run within that time period and tells CloudFit AI to avoid any exercises from those workouts.

Tips & Recommendations

  • 📝 Be specific – “Upper body dumbbell exercises for beginners” works better than “upper body.”

  • 🏋️ Set equipment – Choose equipment in the UI (as per above) or mention it in your prompt — both work.

  • 🎲 Experiment – Try different styles (“fun cardio warm-ups,” “rotational core burners”) to spark variety.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Will CloudFit AI recommend your own (uploaded) custom exercises?

Yes it will, however, only if it can work out the exercise and equipment from the name of the exercise.

Can CloudFit AI create the entire workout including timings and modules?

Not at this stage. For now, CloudFit AI is focused on exercise suggestions. However, stay tuned for more capabilities in the future.

Are there any limits on how much I can use CloudFit AI?

Yes there are limits in place:

  • Users on our free plan will have a small daily quota to try it out.

  • Business customers have a very high daily quota that should be essentially unlimited. However, if you do reach the limit, you can reach out to our support team and we should be able to increase it further.
